SESD Announces 2026 Spring Public Tour

We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Public Tour at SESD. By opening our doors during Clean Water Week, April 12th through 18th, we join colleagues and facilities like ours across the country to educate the public on the work we all do to keep us healthy and safe.
This is a new endeavor for us, since we’re used to hosting plant tours and educational seminars for schools, community groups, and wastewater professionals. We are proud to open our doors – and your eyes – to the world of wastewater treatment and its impact on our economic and environmental health in our service area of Beverly, Danvers, Marblehead, Peabody, and Salem. Won’t you join us?
There are two tours held each year that are open to the public: one in the Spring and one in the Fall. We held our 1st official Public Tours in June and October of 2025. We’ve certainly had the public here before, but not in a long time in a capacity such as this, so thank you for your interest in an often-overlooked but critically important part of where we live, work and play.
We look forward to meeting our neighbors again this year! Click for a PDF of our flyer to share in your network!
