The Pipe Patrol

Join Pippen and The Pipe Patrol to Protect Our Waters!

What goes down our sinks, toilets, and tubs can harm the water we all share. Become a Pipe Patroller with Pippen and help spread the word about what not to flush or drain, protecting where we live, play, and swim.

Step 1: Find the Non-Flushables

When possible, and with your family’s assistance, locate these items in your home:

  • All Food Scraps
  • Baby Diapers & Wipes
  • Butters, Fats, Grease & Oils
  • Facial Tissues & Paper Towels
  • “Flushable” Wipes
  • Household Chemicals
  • Lint & Hair
  • Medications
  • Pet Litter & Pet Waste
  • Plastic Bags or Wrappers

Step 2: Attach Pipe Patrol Stickers

Place ‘Do Not Flush or Drain’ stickers on these items to help remind your family and friends not to put things down the toilet or drain that don’t belong there. Always ask your parents first!

Help Pippen and join The Pipe Patrol to keep pipes clean and running smoothly! Doing your ‘doody’ responsibly makes you an important part of the clean water team!
