We’re Here to Help
SESD provides wastewater treatment services to five member communities as well as state and county institutions located in Middleton and Wenham. Please feel free to contact us if you want to learn more about what we do or have questions.
We also understand that you may notice nuisance odors on occasion in the vicinity of our facilities. Please reach out to us if that is the case and we will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
SESD does not own or maintain the sanitary sewers or stormwater outfalls in our member communities (with the exception of a few large, shared collector pipes called interceptors). Therefore, we are not able to repair sewer laterals or breaks in sewer pipes beneath your neighborhood streets.
For help on resolving breaks or backups in your local sewers, or other sewer connection issues, please reach out to the Department of Public Works or Engineering Departments in your local community. We have provided some key contact information below.
